AFSA SPECIAL CAMPAIGN RUNS NOV 2024 - MAY 2025
LEADERS MENTOR LEADERS ​CHALLENGE

Many people believe in the importance of mentorship, yet few have actively sought one. We formally challenge all current and past AFSA leaders to sponsor a new or existing member’s dues—and commit to mentoring that individual for the next six months.
Now is the time to grow our Association and nurture the next generation of leaders. The best mentorships foster growth for both participants, so we challenge you to share your unique skills and insights to attract new talent and advance AFSA’s mission for the future.
RULES:

• Special Membership Rate: $30 for a 1-year membership or $75 for a 3-year membership
• Enrollment: Use the Mentor WEBFORM or this Mentor PDF form..
• Campaign Requirements:
  • By joining, you agree to the use of your name, image, and mentorship story for AFSA promotional purposes.
  • Both mentor and mentee's AFSA memberships must be in good standing at the time of the drawing.
  • Mentors must post monthly updates on Facebook, other social media, or their local AFSA website (if applicable), using the hashtag #AFSALeadersMentorLeaders.
  • Mentors must also share these posts and any additional updates* with AFSAHQ Communications via email at [email protected].
  • *Posts, Photos and Updates may be highlighted in the AFSA Afield feature of the AFSA Magazine.
• This campaign begins November 4, 2024 and it ends May 15, 2024, but we hope your mentoring continues well beyond.
• Mentor-mentee pairs will be randomly selected from all eligible participants, and winners will be notified after the drawing.
• Both the Winning Mentor and the Mentee will receive 1 complimentary Registration to the 2025 AFSA International Convention (AFSA-IC) scheduled for July 28, 2025. Registration includes participation in the AFSA International Convention and the following special event meal functions: Parade of Checks Reception, Welcome Breakfast, Theme Party/Ice Breaker, AFSA International President’s Dinner.
