About the Clear2Connect Coalition:  Our mission is to educate about the critical importance of quality, accurate Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service (IP CTS), also known as captioned telephone service. To achieve this mission, we advocate for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to put quality standards and metrics in place for this essential service, whether it is provided by a skilled transcriber and automatic speech recognition (ASR) technology, or by ASR only.
