Dress in current OCPs or off-duty gear, this is your opportunity to have an AFSA spotlight on you and your AFSA experience! Photos must be high resolution (smartphone photos are okay; no formal military portraits ). - Provide an overview of the activity to include dates, general description and its overall success
- Photo submissions must be of good quality and HIGH RESOLUTION images!
- Photo captions must be provided with photos. Provide the names of individuals pictured the photo from left to right.
- Your submissions may be edited and shared through our social media outlets, eNewsletters, website and the AFSA magazine.
- Division/Chapter leadership - if you are hosting an AFSA event, you must advise participants (in writing whenever possible) that their photos may be taken during the function, and they may be shared on social media, and Chapter/Division, Association marketing materials. A sign could be added to the registration or event table with the following disclaimer...
- Photography & Media Notice: By attending this event, you acknowledge that photographs and videos may be taken for promotional and marketing purposes. Your image may appear on social media, websites, and future marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform event staff upon arrival.
- As a general rule, when you submit a photograph of a member in uniform to HQ, we will photoshop or blur their name and any specific insignia's, patches, etc. We advise you to do the same.
- If photos are specifically taken for marketing and promotional purposes, a PHOTO RELEASE FORM must be completed, and saved/archived for future purposes. (Please submit a completed form with any photo submissions).
